Pokémon Bushido is a narrative-driven Pokémon fan RPG set in a stylized samurai era, recognized for cinematic storytelling, honor-based progression, and custom encounter design. Built in Pokémon Essentials and RPG Maker, it delivers a full single-player campaign in the Aisho region and earned long-tail traction through creator coverage and community engagement.
As co-lead developer and project producer, I guided creative direction, structured production pipelines, and coordinated writing, art, music, and event scripting contributors. I managed scope, milestone delivery, and review cycles, ensuring the game’s narrative clarity and consistent player experience. Alongside production leadership, I contributed directly to narrative beats, encounter tuning, and pacing to support fast iteration and polish.
The goal was to build a story-first Pokémon experience with emotional weight while sustaining momentum in a volunteer team. The result was a cohesive, polished RPG that resonated with players and demonstrated disciplined indie production practices.
